Should have passed Senior Secondary Certificate Examination with English as a subject and secured 35% marks in the aggregate.

However, a student who has been placed under compartment in only one subject in 10+2 examination obtaining at least 35% marks in aggregate may the allowed to take admission provisionally for the B.A. 1st Semester class such a student shall be allowed to clear the compartment subject of 10+2 in two chance(Supplementary Examination) from the concerned Board till March, of the admission year as per University rules, In case he,she fails to do so, his/her provisional admission shall be cancelled ab-initio.

Punjabi (Elective)/Sanskrit (Elective), Economics, History, Political Science, Geography, Mathematics.
Note: Maths will be given to those students who have passed 10+2 with maths as a subject. History and Political Science will not be given to the students who opt for mathematics
